“Straight from the horses mouth”….
I just finished reading Lynne McTaggart’s “The Field”. As I scanned through the book I realized that I knew all this already. How did I know it? You remember the bumper sticker that says: “Everything I know I learned from my horse”? Well it wasn’t one horse in particular but over unstructured time spent in their presence, I had begun to resonate at the Horse frequency and they resonated with the Field or what animals call the ALL (or God) The interesting and obvious detour the book had taken was after stating and I quote “A substructure underpins the universe that is essentially a recording medium of everything, providing a means for everything to communicate with everything else. People are indivisible from their environment.” They then add “The consciousness of human beings has incredible powers”.
Well if there is only one consciousness then how is it that humans own it or are superior to other aspects of that consciousness? Consciousness just is. Humans intellectualize and define it, they experiment, prove effects, agree on outcomes, but they haven’t yet made that final hurdle to the finish line where all the non-humans have been waiting quietly. I think it’s our language that gets us into trouble – define something and you create it. It is only those moments when we connect to a place where we know what is indefinable that we are there.
 Prima and the Herd’s perspective in the ‘The Truth According to Horses’(winner of the silver Nautilus award) states:
“We are all one – human plant animal rock – every single quark is united in the same cosmic soup. There are spaces but no boundaries. Boundaries are only thoughts”. Remember when human consciousness expands to the level where we can truly encompass this understanding that you heard it first from a horse!
Exciting news! The trailer for Equinisity, the movie is on site at: www.lizmittenryan.com/media The movie follows an E.A.R.T.H. (Equine Assisted Re-Connective Therapy and Healing) program workshop and the transformation of the participants through their spiritual journey.
There are women of all ages (we did have men at later workshops) from Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Rhode Island, USA, Washington State as well as from all across Canada – British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Their journey was universal; the re-discovery of truth, joy, love and the place where we re-connect with the innocence and wonder of our inner child, the place where we are all one and the world is ours. The teachers and healers are the horses and other animals, the trees and the land itself, with help from our Shaman Billa DeVries and our other practitioners.
 The 235 minute 3 Disc Special Edition DVD retails for $39.95. There is a lot to think about and absorb and watching it is a healing in itself. It is available through our on-line store at www.lizmittenryan.com/store and copies are flying out all over the world. The two big horse networks in the states, Nicker Network/Horse T.V. and Pegasus T.V./Equifava.org., will carry it soon and we are offering an affiliate program if any of you have large sites and are interested in being retailers.
The Behind the scenes DVD has some hilarious and touching unedited scenes (I got Billa giggling uncontrollably one night and there is a great shot of me leaping on and promptly over Tesoro!) Our photographers Shawn Hamilton and Christina Weese contributed absolutely amazing stills as well.
Equinisity is a first! There is nowhere in the world that anything like the E.A.R.T.H. programs are being done.
Film-maker Frank Callaghan (www.horsebc.com), did a wonderful job of filming and editing all in high definition. Finally, the music from The One World Drum Company (www.theoneworldcompany.com) is magical.
I am at a loss now that my career as a director/producer is at an end and winter is making horseplay difficult; I may have to go back to my art career for the next few months!
Some other news: Dana Williams, our EFT practitioner of last summer, has returned to her practice on the Sunshine Coast and we welcome in Janet Hummel, Cranial –Sacral Reflexologist as well as EFT and Body Talk practitioner, who the horses really enjoyed working with last summer. In other news, April Reeves of www.horsemansu.com has just come on board as Liz’s PR and Marketing person. April handles publicity and marketing for many equine businesses in North America, and produces web video, creates social marketing & design and handles management. We welcome her aboard!
